Course Manual “Virtual Exchange Climate Justice”
The Course Manual supports educators and administrators in Higher Education Institutions to integrate this Virtual Exchange course into their curricula.In addition, it intends to inform participants of the Virtual Exchange about the programme’s content and its requirements. It outlines:

Process Framework Virtual Exchange ‘Climate Justice’
The document presents a framework for Virtual Exchange facilitators to support the dialogue sessions they facilitate. Through this framework, facilitators are supported to ‘read’ the stage in which their groups are in and tailor the in-session activities to the specific needs of the facilitated group.
Collection of Climate Action Projects of the Virtual Exchange ‘Climate Justice’
This report lists and describes all the 255 Climate Action Projects that were implemented as part of the Virtual Exchange: Climate Justice: From Inequality to Inclusion. The projects were implemented across 5 iterations and in three different project strands: Social Action Track, the Environmental Action Track and the Political Action Track.
Training Outlines and Agendas
The document outlines the structures of the two courses implemented by CliVEx to train Online Dialogue Facilitators: “Introduction to Online Dialogue Facilitation” and “Advanced training”. It includes the training agendas, assignments information, and assessment requirements.
Evaluation Handbook
The Handbook outlines the approach and tools used to evaluate the learning of the CliVEx Virtual Exchange and Online Facilitation courses’ participants. It provides:
- advice on how educators and coordinators can evaluate learning to ensure quality participation and completion of tasks, with an overview of the survey tools used to measure change in participants’ knowledge, attitudes and skills;
- guidelines and formulas for evaluation data analysis;
- information on recognition through open badges.
Last but not least, the Handbook presents the tools used for the Lifecycle assessment of the CliVEx Virtual Exchanges.
Sustainability Assessment Report
This Overall Sustainability Assessment Report outlines the impact of CliVEx over the course of the project, drawing on data gathered through the tools used to evaluate student and facilitator learning and a Comparative Carbon Footprint to assess the environmental impact/sustainability of the project.
CliVEx Handbook for Virtual Exchange
The CliVEx Handbook for Virtual Exchange provides a comprehensive, replicable framework for Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) wishing to design, implement, and evaluate Virtual Exchange (VE) programmes. Developed through the direct experience of running a multi-country VE on climate justice, the Handbook gathers the methodological approach and tools adopted in CliVEx, into a single resource.
